We are pleased to welcome Sendense as a Diamond Sponsor of the CloudStack Collaboration Conference 2026.
Taking place from 18–20 November 2026 in Edinburgh, Scotland, the conference will bring together Apache CloudStack users, operators, developers, service providers and technology partners from around the world for three days of technical discussions, practical knowledge sharing and community collaboration.
About Sendense
Headquartered in London, United Kingdom, Sendense provides enterprise backup, recovery and disaster recovery for Apache CloudStack and mixed virtual infrastructure. Its platform protects workloads across Apache CloudStack, VMware, Nutanix AHV, Azure, OSSEA and physical servers, with cross-platform replication and migration built into the same protection workflow.
For cloud providers and MSPs, Sendense supports the delivery of Backup as a Service (BaaS) and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS). By combining protection and migration within one platform, workloads can remain protected throughout their entire lifecycle — from their original VMware environment, through replication and failover into Apache CloudStack, and after migration is complete. Backup history and lineage are maintained across both source and destination environments.

How Sendense Uses CloudStack
Apache CloudStack is a first-class platform within Sendense. The platform integrates with CloudStack at the storage layer, using storage-level change tracking for technologies including ZFS, QCOW2, LINSTOR and NFS, alongside agentless change tracking for other environments. This allows backup, replication and recovery workflows to operate consistently across different infrastructure backends.
A significant part of Sendense’s work is with cloud providers and MSPs running Apache CloudStack and building backup, disaster recovery and migration services around it.
With many organisations currently reassessing their VMware estates, Sendense has spent the past year helping providers move production VMware workloads into Apache CloudStack environments while maintaining protection before, during and after migration. Supporting the CloudStack Collaboration Conference gives the team an opportunity to meet the operators, architects and engineers working on these projects and contribute directly to the wider CloudStack community.

What to expect from Sendense in Edinburgh
The Sendense team will be at its booth throughout the conference, running live demonstrations of backup, replication, failover and migration across Apache CloudStack, VMware and mixed infrastructure.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore practical topics including VMware migration, BaaS and DRaaS on CloudStack, and protecting workloads across multiple infrastructure platforms.
Sendense will also deliver two technical sessions during the conference. Both sessions are designed for CloudStack operators, cloud providers, MSPs, architects and infrastructure engineers looking for practical approaches to migration, backup and disaster recovery.
We are delighted to have Sendense supporting the CloudStack Collaboration Conference 2026 as a Diamond Sponsor and look forward to welcoming their team to Edinburgh this November.
