Alex is the Director of Network Engineering at US Signal, where he leads the teams responsible for building and maintaining the optical transport and routing infrastructure to support the company’s connectivity products. Most recently, Alex served as the architect for the company’s OpenCloud deployment, which is one of the company’s first major product offerings based on an open-source platform, Apache CloudStack. This included building a comprehensive set of automations to support the creation and on-going operation of OpenCloud. With that, Alex brings a deep knowledge of the CloudStack ecosystem, from understanding the community support structure to building infrastructure at-scale.
